An invitation was extended to gather with one another in nature for a durational dance vigil in solidarity with those facing oppression, apartheid, genocide, and state violence across the world. Over 8 hours, dancers took the place of the candle that stayed lit during the vigil.

Participants simply spent time being peaceful and calm, gently sewing while overlooking an idyllic, quiet beach. It was perfect for unwinding, slowing down, and feeling refreshed. Inspiration came from local nature and heritage, with expert guidance from an experienced artist.
