Attendees were invited to learn how to print from flowers onto fabric, which could then be turned into cards, bags, and cushion covers. The event allowed crafting enthusiasts to work together, make friends, share ideas and skills, and improve their wellbeing through creativity.

An invitation was extended to gather with one another in nature for a durational dance vigil in solidarity with those facing oppression, apartheid, genocide, and state violence across the world. Over 8 hours, dancers took the place of the candle that stayed lit during the vigil.

Participants simply spent time being peaceful and calm, gently sewing while overlooking an idyllic, quiet beach. It was perfect for unwinding, slowing down, and feeling refreshed. Inspiration came from local nature and heritage, with expert guidance from an experienced artist.

Performing Anxiety was an ambitious new good practice resource from the Mental Health Foundation and the team behind the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, designed for anyone who wanted to make live artistic work about mental health. This ranged from autobiographical shows about anxiety and depression to participatory projects working with vulnerable people.
