Performing Anxiety is an ambitious new good practice resource from the Mental Health Foundation, and the team behind the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, for anyone who wants to make live artistic work about mental health, from autobiographical shows about anxiety and depression to participatory projects working with vulnerable people. make the Bed is a 60-minute solo show that relies on gesture, physicality, and soundscapes as Ariela brings the audience along with her on an anxiety-filled downward spiral. In showing her own struggle with mental illness, particularly anxiety, Ariela wanted to create a piece in whihc other anxious people could see their own experiences reflected. This piece is part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
