Maryhill Integration Network's Joyous Choir is a community choir for women seeking asylum and refuge in Glasgow. Weekly sessions include singing, song-writing, learning and sharing songs from different cultures, and performance opportunities. Joyous choir will perform at HAS Wellbeing Concert to highlight how music can cross cultural barriers and help diverse women heal from trauma through friendship and song. https://www.maryhillintegration.org.uk

A team of Project Ability artists will invite attendees to sit for a few minutes to have their portrait drawn at the HAS Glasgow Day. The gifted artists have previously drawn portraits at conferences, events, and The Scottish Parliament. While demonstrating their talent, they share pride in their creativity and how identifying as an artist helps their mental health and wellbeing.
